Bowls: Blue Magnolia

I was given a piece of magnolia several years back and had been wondering what it wanted to be.

Seeing that it had pretty yet muted grain patterns I decided to try my hand at dyeing a piece I'd turned. This is my own blended blue and really set off the grain. The slighly yellow tint to the magnolia gave a subtle green highlight to the lighter areas of this bowl.
