Boxes: Hollow Form with Lid

Ever get a song stuck in your head? I managed to get a shape stuck in mine.

I did a series of oil lamps with this form and decided to see if hollow forms and larger pieces like urns and pots would work for me. This is one of the smaller forms measuring about 4"x4" and is of local black cherry.

The interior is undercut to match the outer shape and turned down to a wall thickness of 3/16".
