Nantucket Turnings: Unity Collaborative (Spalted Maple)

This 11" Unity bowl is a collaborative effort between myself and my mother Maggie Silva. I was lucky enough to have several large spalted maple logs given to me and the coloring of this wood is spectacular.

The finished bowl is polished to a high gloss using tung oil and carnuba wax.
